She lives and loves to kill them with kindness. But she also has the ability to to have you grasping your chest with the truth of it all.
Now I am quite the meek one, quiet, likes to fade into the background.
I’m also not the best at standing up for myself.
However, I do enjoy handing people their individual ropes and watch and wait until most people “hang themselves”. In other words, I’ll give you grace and more chances until they simply run out.
Now what I don’t need is people telling me about God giving grace and mercies new each day. I know!! But also I am not God, I’m a just trying in my complete humanness to be the best that I can be. So she’ll lose her patience every once in a while. Trust it’s not pretty. So thank God it’s rare.
I never look for confrontation, I actually despise it to be completely honest. Nonetheless, when push comes to shove I am just compelled to let people know the truth about themselves, as they’ve seemed to forgotten.
I know I’m Christian, but also remember the tongue is sharper than any double-edged sword. So if and when I use it towards someone, just know she’s going with God.
