I am a Black Christian woman navigating life a day at a time. Here's to feeling the fear and doing it anyway.

Crazy

Am I crazy

For wanting to believe in the greater good?

Am I crazy

For wanting to know what real love is?

Am I crazy

For imagining a better life for myself?

Am I crazy

For believing that there is someone out there who will finally see my God-given worth?

Am I crazy

For thinking that I am worthy of love?

Am I crazy

For guarding my heart

Am I crazy

For thinking that I don’t deserve a good man?

Am I crazy

For not knowing what a good man looks like?

Crazy

For forgetting what God has placed within me from birth

For not always putting God first

For letting society and culture break down my barriers

For not always knowing my worth

For letting other people define my parameters

For losing myself, my identity

For thinking that I couldn’t get back up

For being a victim and not a survivor

Crazy

In Love

In Pursuit

In Faith

In Spirit

In Friendship

In Relationship

In Journey

In Discovery

Crazy in Life with the Lord

I'm just a woman seeking to express herself freely without anyone's judgement and unwanted opinions. Just read and reflect. May my art be catharsis for you.
