Stepping Out

Being called on a mission
God drawing me forth
Accepting the blessing
Yet disappearing as I don’t know my worth

Words on my heart
Put there by God
Speaking up, speaking out
So scary, so hard

Believing I’m not worth listening to
Doubting the words my spirit holds
I release the stronghold of first opinions
And let God rewrite that vision

God told me I am gifted
I am worth listening to
I should never stop writing
It’s time to bid this fear adieu

I am stepping out in faith
Being fearless in the crowd
Taking a deep breath
And making my God proud

I'm just a woman seeking to express herself freely without anyone's judgement and unwanted opinions. Just read and reflect. May my art be catharsis for you.
