Sapphire promise washing over my feet

So beautiful. Blinding.
Calling me closer still, a dove in the distance
Azure enchantment swishing around my knees

Hands grasping, hungry
Onward in pursuit
Ocean air salty on my lips
Indigo faithfulness rippling about my waist
Waist deep
Only by faith, not by sight
Jesus’ light surrounding me
Weightless, fully protected
Midnight mercy engulfing my entirety
Overflowing
Joyful, peaceful, content and expectant
Thankful, loved, adored and respected
On my knees
Always put at ease
You receive my pleas
You’ve given me the keys…
