I am a Black Christian woman navigating life a day at a time. Here's to feeling the fear and doing it anyway.

Rain

Dark grey clouds pollute the sky
Facing upwards, face assaulted by raindrops

Like a plane on a runway
My face at mercy to the water running down

Silence and absence surrounding my existence
It echoes, so loud

Lonely?
Not a feeling at present

Home.
At present, I am home.
