Compressed Thoughts

I try to write, but my words are too jumbled to make full sentences

No relief from this pressure and torment

I just want to cry

But I can’t – it’ll just be an inconvenience

I want cuddles and someone to just listen, but my person has a lot on their mind right now – also feeling ill themselves

I don’t know where to go and I don’t feel like being anywhere in particular

I want to be no where at all

To distract my mind is a brief moment of relief

To be alone with my thoughts is misery

Although I’m in counselling, I still have great difficulty expressing my feelings

I don’t know how to do this

I feel so disconnected from everyone

I feel so low in myself, I should have just stayed home

Some thoughts I’d never say out loud.

I'm just a woman seeking to express herself freely without anyone's judgement and unwanted opinions. Just read and reflect. May my art be catharsis for you.
