Drowning

How is it that I feel like I am suffocating, but I am still alive?

How does every single hour of each day feel like an immense struggle, but I endeavour to get up each morning?

How is it that I feel like I am drowning, but no can hear me?

So hard for my mouth to form the words:

I need help

I am depressed

I have been self-harming

So now I must suffer alone…

These feelings bubbling inside of me are becoming a new norm

Seeing the world and living this life through these tired eyes…

I'm just a woman seeking to express herself freely without anyone's judgement and unwanted opinions. Just read and reflect. May my art be catharsis for you.
