Weaponising Me

Should I open my mouth and tell you my thoughts?

You breathe deep,

Passively listen.

And tell me my thoughts are wrong.

The way I think, pisses you off.

Is it because my thoughts challenge you?

As opposed to gratifying your ego.

Man, you are too entitled.

How about I turn the tables?

Make you question your psyche?

Always blame you,

Never making myself accountable.

I’d like that.

Wouldn’t you?

The wonderful thing about karma…

It’s now your turn to have a taste of your own medicine.

Safe space.

Safe place.

Where have you gone?

Back to having my own back?

Used to it.

Born for it.

Excel at it.

Embody it.

Forgot myself.

Beaten down.

Bleeding out.

Still breathing somehow…

I may have my hang-ups

My frustrating flaws,

But you forget, you’re also less than perfect.

You’re flawed too.

Disassociating.

No longer relating.

Constantly debating.

Myself I am questioning.

Is this really what I want?
